The port facility alone amounts to 160 acres, including 110 meters of deep-water quay and 80 acres of storage area. The quay is dimensioned for high loads and has a minimum depth of 16.5 meters. The other quay is 45 meters long and has a minimum depth of 10 meters.
Large parts of the Gismarvik port area have been leveled. Further development is being planned, and a fully developed facility under current conditions will involve up to 900 meters of quay line.
The Port of Gismarvik is ISPS approved. The port operator at the Port of Gismarvik is GMC Marine AS.
