CCS Haugalandet is a consortium consisting of Equinor Kårstø, Eramet Sauda, Gassco, Hydro Karmøy, Sintef and Haugaland Næringspark. CSS Haugalandet has been awarded project funding from Gassnovas to carry out a technical-economic analysis of a common infrastructure for the safe transport and storage of CO2 from the major industrial plants in the region.
New CCS evenings will be arranged in the fall, with carbon transport and storage on the agenda. The series of seminars on carbon capture and storage is intended to provide more knowledge about important measures to deal with greenhouse gas emissions and provide a status on the CCS Haugalandet consortium's study to look at a common infrastructure for safe transport and storage from Haugalandet.
