Builder Bjarne Kynningsrud founded the company as early as 1946, which today has the business areas Crane, Property, Construction and Housing. Krandelen Nordic Crane Kynningsrud is a leader in mobile cranes, truck cranes and special transportation, providing services locally, nationally and throughout Scandinavia.
As a new tenant in Gismarvik Bygg in Haugaland Næringspark, they are now opening their first office in western Norway.
- "We've wanted to establish ourselves in Western Norway for a long time and see a large market here, especially for mobile cranes. Haugaland Næringspark was a natural choice as it is so centrally located, with a short distance to Haugesund, a short distance to Karmøy and, with the tunnels nearby, a short distance to Stavanger. "We're taking a long-term view and aim to expand over time," says department manager Åge Dagfinn Askeland.
Nordic Crane Kynningsrud already has seven employees at its western branch in Haugaland Næringspark.
- We're in full swing, and the start-up has gone so well that we'll probably need even more mobile crane operators in the future. We lift and move whatever we need to; houses, boats and other large and heavy items. Of course, we hope that we can also be of use to new establishments in the business park itself," says Askeland.
Nordic Crane has a motto that says "The joy is to be of service".
- "We are committed to delivering good service and always come with a smile," assures Askeland.
- "It's great for the business park that we have players who can provide synergies and service to each other, and it will certainly be useful for future establishments," says Tiril Fjeld, general manager of Haugaland Næringspark.
Kynnerud Nordic Crane is committed to sustainability and consideration for the environment, and has invested in the world's first electric crawler crane.
- "Electric crawler cranes are clearly the future, so we've recently ordered even more," says Askeland.
