On Thursday, June 13, an evening seminar was held under the auspices of Industrial Symbiosis Haugalandet.
Here, project manager Karoline Sjøen Andersen presented the mapped resource flows at the four industrial locations (Hydro Karmøy, Kårstø process plant, Haugaland Næringspark and Eramet Sauda) and discussed possible symbioses. She also took a closer look at resource flows that can give rise to new business cases and ideas.
Marte Tostrup from Eramet spoke about surplus flows in the form of materials, while Sebastian Borgen from Equinor Kårstø spoke about surplus flows in the form of energy.
